I taught Art at the middle school level for 32
years. When I retired in 2002, I began to explore deeply my
own creativity.
I have melded a passion for photography and painting into a
style I call “photo-painting.” My imaging tool is the camera
and my palette is the computer.
My other passion is jewelry design and fabrication. I work
with the elements of design to make unique, one of a kind
pieces. I travel up and down the East coast looking for
unusual materials. My designs utilize gemstones, pearls,
coral, cinnabar, Thai and Bali silver beads and pendants. My
findings are sterling silver, vermeil and gold filled. Often I
design for the individual customer.
I show my work at juried and invitational shows as well as
open studios and shows with the Hull Artists Studio
