Trish Baggott

As a collage artist, I am captivated by the interplay of materials and colors and am fueled by a fascination with texture and movement in the limitless combinations of mixed media. I love experimenting with combining and layering materials to create rich compositions that celebrate the beauty of imperfection and find joy in the everyday. Through my art, I aim to inspire others to embrace the possibilities of collage and discover their own creative voice.

Trish Baggott is a mixed media artist with a focus on collage. She was born in Pennsylvania and currently splits her time between Hull Ma and Ludlow VT. Baggott has been an educator at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston since 2010. In September 2022 she was a resident artist in Sanquhar Scotland at MERZ Gallery through Kolaj Institute, and in March 2023 she was the working artist at Canal Street Art Gallery in Bellows Falls, VT. She recently had art on view at Knoxville Museum of Art in Tennessee in the group exhibition “Mythical Landscapes: Secrets of the Vale” and is among the collage artist illustrators for the book Folklore of the Upper Nithsdale, an April 2023 re-released publication by Kolaj Institute. She currently has art in local juried shows: Hull Artists Regional Juried Show 2023 and South Shore Arts Center Festival Exhibition 2023.
